There is
a big difference between marrying someone you can live with and marrying
someone you cannot live without. If you
marry a person that you can live with, it is because you feel comfortable with
that person, maybe you both like the same things, the same food, the same
music in short you are compatible. But then when you marry that person and the
time comes that you have different priorities which of course will happen when
you have children, the compatibility fades. The times when both of you are
still not responsible for anything will change when you have children. With
priorities like food shelter and education and both of you have no time for
each other. It increases the chance that one of you will be bored of the
situation. Worse take another partner.
But if
you choose to marry someone you cannot live without the probability of long
term relation maybe a bit higher. Why? Because if you cannot live without this
person. All the positive and negative things
in him or her will be acceptable to you. You will learn to live together in
harmony. Learn to get along and know this person much more deeply. In short
both of you will sacrifice for each other because you have something in common.
That is you cannot live without each other.
