Never be
afraid to try something new. True? Maybe trying something new is not that bad
at all. Technology is changing very fast. I still remember, before you have to
wait for the mailman to come but now just a click on your cellphone and your
message is sent. Everything is changing very fast from technology to fashion to
the foods that we eat even education. But that is of course a part of changing.
What I am trying to say is why would you be afraid of something new if others
already tried?
I
remember that time when some of the farmers in our village do not believe that
one day only machine will flow and harvest the rice fields. I still recall the
words they told me that machine cannot substitute man. True but it can lessen
the workforce. Imagine from 50 workers to 2 people only. My father in law
experimented on this flow harrow even though all the other farmers would not,
he let nobody intervene on this experiment. And what happened next became a trend
in our village not only did they save from lot of workforce but they gained the
efficiency of the machine and save a lot of time. He was not afraid to try
something new until now he was always trying something new that is why when I
talk to him it will take hours of exchanging ideas. I guess he is not bored at
all from experimenting and trying new ideas.
He did
not stayed within the limits of what he knows he want to leap and try new
ideas. Maybe we have to learn something from him. Never be afraid to try new
ideas after all our technology now came from just an idea.
