The Presidential
election is almost here. The Campaign period started and black propaganda are
being thrown to each of the presidential candidates. The highest position of
the land is now available and the candidates are Sen. Mirriam Santiago, VP Jejomar
Binay, Senator Grace Poe, DILG Sec, Mar Roxas and Davao city Mayor Rodrigo
Duterte. This is the time for Filipinos to vote for their leader and this is
the time to show to the world that we Filipinos need a true leader. A leader
who will not be affected by the politics. A leader who will guide us to true
changes and a leader who will not be manipulated by the rich.
10 reasons why I
will vote Duterte,
· He is a Filipino a lawyer and
politician of Visayan descent
· Duterte is among the longest-serving mayors in
the Philippines
· He has also served as vice-mayor and congressman
in the city.
· He turned Davao City from the
murder capital of The Philippines to what tourism organisations now describe as
“the most peaceful city in southeast Asia”
· He has been a politician for a long
time and no case filed against him for graft and corruption
· Visits New People's Army camps negotiating peace
transaction efforts and advocating diplomacy.
· Duterte was also the first mayor in the
Philippines to give formal representation to the indigenous Lumad and Muslim
community,
· Duterte used city government funds to build
a ₱12-million drug rehabilitation and treatment center which
provides 24-hour
· And last but not the least I really admire his quote
“I don't care if I go to hell as
long as the people I serve will live in paradise.”
